The second set was also close. IBK started to pull away with points from Pyo Seung-ju and Koo Hye-in at 15-20, but Bae Yoo-na answered with a timeout attack, and Kim Se-bin and Ko Eui-jeong scored back-to-back points to take the set.
The third set was a back-and-forth affair. At 18-18, IBK took a 20-18 lead after an attack by Abecrombie and an opponent’s error, but Pyo Seung-ju and Abecrombie made set point and Kim fought back with a service ace.

And Hwang Min-kyung, a 15-year veteran who donned the IBK jersey as a free agent this season, also shed tears of victory. After the high-five, Hwang Min-kyung rushed to the restroom to wash her face and try to calm herself down, but the tears didn’t come easily. Choi Jung-min also cried tears of joy.
