“Strikers are judged by their goals. I will prove it.”
Korean men’s national football team striker Park Jae-yong (Jeonbuk Hyundai) started and scored a brace in his team’s 4-0 victory over Thailand in the second match of Group E at the 2022 Asian Games on Nov. 21 at the Jinhua Sports Center in Zhejiang, China.
After coming off the bench in the first game against Kuwait (9-0), Park was unable to find the back of the net on this occasion. However, he did his best to fight the opposing defense on the front line and set up the ball for the second line through screen plays.
