Okay, that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but the 32-year-old “unemployed” midfielder has signed with Italian Serie A side Udinese Calcio.
On December 12, Udinese Calcio announced the free agent signing of midfielder Roberto Pereira on their official website 바카라사이트.
The club welcomed him with the words “Welcome back, Tucu”. In fact, the midfielder had been with Udinese for three years until June 30.
The reason for his departure was simple. “It wasn’t about the money,” he said in a statement about his departure, “it was about the desire to play in a European competition.
“It wasn’t about the money,” he said, adding that the coaching staff at Udinese met him “by chance” while he was working on his personal training and succeeded in bringing him back to the club. “I made a mistake and luckily I was able to get the return to Udinese that I wanted,” he said, calling it a “happy ending.
The Argentine first joined Udinese in 2011. Three years later, in 2014, Juventus took an interest in him and loaned him out for a year in 2015 before buying him outright for a whopping €15 million. However, a year later, in 2016, he headed to Watford, and after an unsatisfactory spell with the Bianconeri, he returned to Udinese in 2020.
However, with a thirst for European competition, he opted for free agency instead of re-signing with the club and actively sought a club in Europe, most notably with a counter-offer from AS Roma. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out. Eventually, he returned to his original club Udinese and signed a one-year contract with the club.
